THE RED-HAIRED PAINTER

This work grew out of the memory of a photograph of a woman painting. Her image stayed with me, and on the canvas I gave her a renewed presence through my imagination. The red-haired painter embodies both a real memory and a creative vision, blending remembrance with invention.
